A Peep Through the Terrain of Teaks.

Do you know where is world's oldest teak located? Of course it is in Malappuram as these writings are only about this place. It is in Nilambur a town,  35 km away from district head quarters. A scenic beauty with serene atmosphere, it is here where the world's oldest teak along with the world's first teak museum is located. Canoli plot lying in midst of river can be explored by travelers. The teak museum is 4km away from Nilambur town. The museum is currently maintained by Kerala Forest Research institute. It was first started by the British during 1840's. Travelling by train through this route is indeed an exquisite experience.
