Mamburam Makham

Mamburam Makham is situated on the grave of Sayyid Alavi Thangal who is popularly known as Mamburam Thangal. Mamburam Nercha is famous around the Muslim commity. It is 25 km long from Malappuram town.  Maburam Thangal reached Kerala two centuries ago from Yemen. The memory of this social leader is revived through this annual ceremony at the Makham.
